If you don't mind waiting in line...

The ArcLight Cinema will be showing Star Wars: A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back on the first two Wednesdays in June (the first and eighth). Tickets go on sale Monday May 9 and I imagine there might be a line, or you can likely buy them online. Two lucky ticket holders will be given tickets to the AFI event at the Kodak theater granting Lucas the lifetime achievement award.

My questions...

Are these the original releases? Or, are they the altered Special Edition lesser versions? Han shot first dammit!

Will these be original prints and thus use optical sound? I think that would be very interesting. Audiences today are used to the "Digital Experience" in sound and I wonder if Lucas had digital sound prints of the original film made recently.

Will Episode III be any good?
