Not that long ago, Wolfgang Baur decided to try a little experiment. He knew that people who played roleplaying games were serious about their hobby, and that many have secret game design fantasies. He wondered if there were enough to create a business writing adventures sponsored entirely by patrons who, like Popes and Renaissance Italian Princes, would pay for the privilege to own "exclusive" adventures. So far...it seems to be paying off.
