I don't pay any attention to dropping subscribers. The only subscriber numbers I get alerted to are new ones, and it gives me a moment to pause and appreciate the effort of folks who like to check out what I am sharing.
As for AI. It's great! I dig it. Would like to see the implementation of it not use so much power to run. Science and medical applications are wonderful along with statistical. I use it to tighten up what I write, to clean up low rez photos in my articles and to even assist in editing my own art. When I don't have the original PSDs for a piece and I want to work with one of my drawings, I can isolate the subject and remove the color, background, or just have it pull the line art to rework with in another file. For a one person set up, Ai can be a force multiplier... it's a tool, like a pen. It's all in how it ASSISTS you - not do everything for you.
If I'm not mistaken, the thieving kind of AI is specifically known as Generative AI. The kind you are liking is akin to the kind that studies every x-ray ever filed and can predict cancer better than some doctors -- most people when you point that out are okay with that, at least in theory.
The Stallone Dredd movie is visually perfect, but he does the character dirty. I don't even mind him taking off the helmet -- logistically that has to happen sometimes, even if it's never shown in the comic -- but romance shouldn't be part of Dredd's story.
I'm curious what makes a "Whoooo!" moment specifically Whedonesque, as, opposed to, say, Han Solo's yell when he comes in to save the day at the end of Star Wars, I just rewatched Prince of Thieves, and Costner also has "Whooo" moments, predating Whedon's major breakthrough. Maybe you can expand on that sometime, or you already have and I missed it.
Prince of Thieves is still bad, but it benefits from being horribly dated and thus now "good-bad"
As for Whooos. There are Lucas’ “Yeehaw, you’re all clear from here” and then there are Whedon “Whooos” which are literally someone saying “Whooo!” They are 3rd Wall breaking cheers that aren’t natural to the scene, but are rather the audio version of a Batman “BAM!” All action stops, just for the Whooo. The Aquaman surfing moment in Justice League is one, but there are more. They aren’t as bad as Whedon’s crude misogyny, for example the Loki/Widow slur moment, but they rub me the wrong way.

Cheers, Christian!

Yeah, the romance is off. I know a lot of people shipped Anderson and Dredd, but never Hershey. Besides, Dresd only loves the Law.
