One legend? Captain Kidd and his hidden pirate treasure. 😉

I really enjoyed the Terrifier chat, I'm fascinated by the impact of the series even though I've still only seen the first one.
'Penultimate' is a great word - I don't know if you've come across it before but there's a rare use of 'ante-penultimate' in the song 'Have Some Madeira M'Dear' (which is one of the darkest comedy songs ever written):
Then there flashed through her mind what her mother had said
With her ante-penultimate breath:
"Oh my child should you look on the wine when 'tis red
Halloween really is the perfect movie to watch today and its always great when you can get someone to watch it for the first time. So many movies I wish I could see for the first time.
I remember staying up to obscenely late hours as an eight year old watching one horror flick after the next. Two in particular scared the bejeezus out of me. One old film featured a head tumbling down a flight of stairs. The other took place in a creepy mansion where a face slowly materialized in a window pelted by rain. Wish I knew the name of that one.
Spot on. The whole potato as Halloween treat thing is wild, I get why you had cognitive dissonance! Even here in Romania, we'd be like, 'Huh?'. So funny!
I have a few thoughts on what I can glean about the Terrifier lawsuit, but I'll save them for the podcast if you like.
I will say, though, what I said in regards to the now-adult "Nirvana baby," and virtually everyone I knew seemed to disagree with me about: People are allowed to change their minds at any time about whether or not they've been exploited. I'll leave it there for now.
