I will definitely be checking out this video. I'll also be writing up a piece on using Chainmail's magic system as the basis for a D&D campaign. It's a very different system than most of the alternatives of the era like Spell Points.
I remember getting halfway through the first edition rules after reading a previous article from you, and Gygax and Arneson would contradict and/or just ignoring rules. Good times.
