Christian, I thought I was subscribed to your podcasts via Apple but none of these have shown up in my feeds since April. Guess I need to listen directly rather than with my automated downloads, etc.
These episodes were recorded on BlogTalkRadio back in the day. Back in 2014 I let my subscription lapse and they subsequently removed all but a few episodes from Apple Podcasts. When I started doing new episodes sporadically, I used Anchor.fm and they uploaded the new episodes as I do them. The only way for me to get these older episodes to be available is to manually download them and re-upload them. My BlogTalkRadio subscription ,which I renewed hoping they would put them back up on Apple but they didn't, expires soon so I'm migrating the files here for safekeeping. I'll eventually re-edit them and upload them to Anchor and then they should automatically update on Apple. Until then, feel free to download my older episodes manually and share the heck out of them. I had some great interviews.
Guess I'll have to listen to these once I figure out how to get them via my phone (which allows the Bluetooth to send direct to hearing aids, rather than through speakers).
Oy vey. Hadn’t really absorbed the 2008 dateline on this until I started listening...and it’s fascinating both because John’s talking about the 2008 writers strike & its fight re revenue online and how much it presages the 2023 writers strike that just ended. Synchronicity!
I’d give anything to have you reinterview John to talk about how prescient some of the discussions about writing and content became in the intervening 15 years between your talks!

Lo and behold, I’ve downloaded the Substack app so I’m back to listen to these podcasts here on my phone. Huzzah!
