Dragon Age Pen and Paper RPG Set 2 in Open Beta

Green Ronin is following in the footsteps of Paizo Publishing and releasing the second boxed set in their Dragon Age pen and paper RPG in an open playtest. You can download the document here.

I am quite fond of the Dragon Age game (as I made clear in an earlier post) and am looking forward to playtesting the rules for higher level characters.

Kudos to Chris Pramas and crew.

I'll let you all know what I think of Set 2 shortly.

I am excited to hear your thoughts. Your original post on the game inspired me to form a group of new RPGers, and it has been a roaring success.

That is cool. I liked the mechanics behind the Song of Ice and Fire RPG, and this dragon-die mechanic sounds attractive as well. It seems like Green Ronin is coming up with a lot of great mechanics.

I also love the Dragon Age video game. Whatever was in its weird cocktail of RPG, novel and dating sim, it worked on me. I hope the Dragon Age RPG has extensive mechanics for dating other PCs.
