Best Comic Book Film of the Year Update

With the release of Batman Begins fast approaching, and given that my last Comic Movie review was Elektra, I think it is only fair to provide a list of Comic Book movies released in 2005 in order of quality.

1. Constantine 3.5 stars. Based on DC Comics Hellblazer title, this movie was surprisingly good.

2. Elektra. See above post, but really it is only #2 because of Terence Stamp.

3. Sin City 2.5 stars. Just watch the Marv sequence and the five minutes by Tarantino. Other than that it is a simulacrum, of a simulacrum, of a simulacrum, of a simulacrum, of a simulacrum, of reality. If you don't know what that means, it means you should watch Touch of Evil and forget Sin City was ever made. Well, except for the Marv part.

4. Son of the Mask. I have to be honest, I haven't seen this yet. I am afraid, very afraid.
