NEW EVENT ADDITION--GOVERNOR HOWARD DEAN!
We have just added another last minute event to our September/October
event calendar. Former presidential candidate and Vermont Governor
Howard Dean will be doing a book signing only of his new book, You
Have The Power: How to Take Back Our Country and Restore Democracy in
America on Friday, October 15th, from 12:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m. All event
details are listed below, as well as on our website,
www.vromansbookstore.com, or you can call the store at (626)449-5320
for the information.
**This is a book signing only.
**Governor Dean will be here from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Depending
on the size of the crowd, we may have to cut off the line in order
to work with the Governor's schedule.
**There will be only two books signed per person. These books can be
either You Have The Power or his previous title, Winning Back
America.
**All copies of You Have The Power MUST be purchased at Vroman's.
**There will be no personalizations in the books, signature only.
**There will be no posed photos. Photos can be taken of the Governor
from the line, before you get to the signing table.
**If you wish to bring a letter or gift for the Governor please know
that those items will be collected before you reach the signing
table, and given to the Governor after the event. You will not be
able to give the Governor these items directly.
**Any press or professional photographers inquiries about the event
should be directed to Jen Ramos or Maret Orliss.
PHIL JACKSON UPDATE
Sorry to those who have been checking the website, or calling the
store to find out the details on our last minute Phil Jackson event
announced in last weeks' updates. We are still waiting for those
details, and we will post them as soon as we get them. Please know
that the time for this event has changed. Phil Jackson's book signing
will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, not at 6:00 p.m.
as previously announced. More details still to come.
