How can you consider yourself a member of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy without one of these Republicans for Voldemort T-Shirts. Not to be confused with their Cold War Supervillain shirt. Either of which is a necessity in life. Go buy them now!
I also command you to go buy these "Voting is for Old People" T-Shirts. I think they are hilarious and provocative. Don't listen to the nay sayers who have no sense of irony. Al Jorgensen (or alien or whatever the eff he is calling himself this week) and Moby can get off their high horse and actually talk with people about the importance of voting rather than telling them to boycott Urban Outfitters. I have had a number of genuinely positive conversations with young people about these shirts. After all, they are true, but the discussion begins with "Should this be true?" Buy them!
Oh, BTW, as the program director for a certain non-profit devoted to youth civic engagement I have been designing my own T-Shirt based on the 7-up "Make 7 -- Up Yours" Tee. Mines says, "Registered to Vote? --- No?" On the front and "Fuck You" on the back. I figure that maybe Al, Moby, Radiohead, and Audioslave might be able to get behind that one.
