City of Heroes--Yes, don't just watch Hellboy, BE Hellboy.

Some of you may or may not know I'm a huge MMORPG fan. What's that others may ask? Massively Multiplayer Online RolePlaying Games. It's an art form in it's infancy really. Yes I say art form. Much like the early decades of film, MMORPGs are to a large degree visual 'attractions' at this stage. All the elements of storytelling and creation of art exist, but they haven't quite gelled together into a cohesive, directed art movement. Not yet, though a glance through the over 200 MMORPGs available indicates no lack of trying! No Griffiths or Eisensteins yet.

And City of Heroes really is no exception. :) Don't expect Art with a capital A to begin here. But, by all accounts, you'll have Fun.

That's right, be a Super Hero of your own making. Leap tall buildings or fly over hundreds of tiny citizens--your citizens. Create your own virtual JLA.

Launches April 28th.
